Namibia is launching a new simplified visa and visa-on-arrival policy that would simplify the entry of tourists and business travelers into the country beginning March 3, 2025. Indian nationals will have to prepare the following documents to apply to Namibia visa or visa-on-arrival:

  • Valid Indian passport, at least six months to date of entry and at least two blank pages.

  • New passport-sized photographs meeting specifications.
  • Onward or confirmed return flight tickets.

  • Travel insurance would be recommended.

  • Visa permits a duration of stays of about 90 days, extension of stay requires application at the embassies.
  • Visitors should prove that they are on a genuine purpose of tourism, business or family visit.
  • Passport should have a minimum of six months to expiry date.
  • Exceeding may lead to fines or travel prohibition.
