Indian nationals traveling to Jordan in 2025 will have the option of a Visa on Arrival (VoA) to tour Jordan, or request the online pre-authorization of an electronic Visa through the Jordan e-Visa portal. Both accept stays not exceeding 30 days and the entry process is easy among the short term visitors.

 

  • Valid Indian passport (a minimum of six months remaining to date of intended stay, and one blank page).
  • Application form of the visa (done online or upon arrival).
    Two new passport size photos (white background).
  • Onward or confirmed return airline tickets.
  • Evidence of accommodation (hotel reservation or invitation letter of host).
  • Documents of adequate funds (bank statements of the past six months or sponsor letter).
  • Travel itinerary.
  • Visa fee (About 40 Jordanian Dinars, approximately 8,100 in rupees).
  • Visits involving business, study, or family, invitation or acceptance letters, both as necessary.
  • Compulsory journeys insurance (recommended of all categories).
  • Tourist Visa (Visa on Arrival or e- visa): 30 days, single entry. Fee: Approximately 40 JOD (~₹8,100).
  • Business Visa: This is applied in advance and the supporting documents are required; the fees are determined by the length of stay.
  • Multiple Entry Visa: it is offered to frequent travelers, the duration of its validity is 6-12 months, fees depend on the business traveler.
  • Student Visa: It has to be accepted and sponsored by a university, and it is charged on a time basis.
  • Family or Work visas: These are documents which have to be well documented, be approved by the authorities of the country (Jordan) and the costs are different depending on the category.
