Guyana needs a visa to travel to all Indian citizens. Applications must be submitted prior to leaving India because regular passport holders would not have a visa-free or on-arrival visa (there can be exemptions to diplomatic/official passports, and some special cases).   • Valid Indian passport and a minimum of six months of validity beyond the proposed date of departure and two blank visa pages.
  • Two duly filled visa application forms.
  • Two recent colour passport-size photographs (per size/guidelines)
  • Letter of cover with the purpose and length of visit.
  • Bank statement stamped and signed by your bank that indicates that you have enough money to stay.
  • Verified back or forward flight ticket.
  • Hotel reservation or invitation letter (with a copy of the Guyanese national ID of the host in case of staying with a friend/family)
  • Detailed travel itinerary
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination certificate (compulsory)
  • Travel insurance, which includes health emergency in case of the trip (recommended)
  • Visa fee payment receipt

Additional documents might be needed depending on the visa, including evidence of association in case of family visits, employer or university letters in case of work or study, and a letter of invitation in case of business trips.
