Yes, a visa is needed. It is either free at the embassy prior to departure or charged as visa-on-arrival at the selected airports.
What is the maximum duration of stay with a Bolivian tourist visa?
The initial stay is 30 days. You are allowed to continue on twice more 30 days (maximum 90 days) at Bolivian immigration, no charge.
Do all airports or land borders have visa-on-arrival?
Visa-on-arrival is only available at La Paz and Santa Cruz airports and not usually at the land borders to the Indians.
Do we need yellow fever vaccination?
Yes, only when going to Amazon or to risky areas. Include vaccination documents with your application where applicable.
